Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green"

Cryptocoryne wendtii is perhaps the most popular and versatile aquarium plant in the world. It is a quintessential mid-ground plant, typically growing between 10–25 cm tall and forming a dense, leafy bush over time. Extremely adaptable, it thrives in everything from low-light, low-tech setups to high-energy aquascapes with CO2​ and intense lighting. As a heavy root feeder, it performs best when tucked into a nutrient-rich substrate; it will spread slowly across the tank floor via underground runners. While famous for the “Crypt Melt” (shedding leaves when moved), it is remarkably resilient and will almost always grow back stronger once acclimated to your water.
